No New Posts Museum Model Railroad
The museum owns a 1700 square foot HO Scale model railroad depicting the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad's Metropolitan Subdivision (Now CSX Capitol Subdivision/MARC Brunswick Line) between Brunswick and Washington DC in the early 1960s. Topics specific to this model or this mainline can go here.

No New Posts Baltimore and Ohio Railroad (and its decendants)
The B&O Railroad turned the slow canal town of under 500 into a bustleing company town of 5000 when they built a 5 mile classification yard complex in Brunswick. The railroad started in Baltimore in 1827. It lasted until the late 1960s before becoming part of the Chessie System, which in turn became part of CSX Transportation in 1987 as it remains today.

Now a wooded trail for the most part, the C&O Canal was both an engineering masterpiece and an ultimate failure. Traveling from Georgetown to Cumberland Maryland, it passes through Brunswick alongside the railroad tracks.
